We did our second parkrun takeover of the year on 22 June. Nona was Run Director and nearly all the volunteers came from the Club. We have nearly 100 registered runners at Peterborough parkrun now which is amazing considering we are such a young club

Why drive to MK just for a 5k? It’s a ridiculously fast course–flat through the first ~1.28 mi then decline all the way to finish, and aside from a right turn shortly after start & another right turn approaching the end it’s practically a straight

This weekend saw Mark knock over 3 minutes off his parkrun PB finishing in 30.19 – those 5K Improver sessions are paying off. Jean also got a parkrun PB with 37.41 while indulging in a bit of parkrun tourism at York Racecourse – well done

Two of our runners were down in London taking part in this very popular event. For Amiee it was her first Half Marathon. In fact, 2 months ago when she joined the Club, she had not run more than 5k and so to finish 21K
