Early Graduation for Louise & Catherine

Early Graduation for Louise & Catherine

Our latest beginners cohort officially graduate to become 5K parkrunners next week following their 12 week None To Run programme.

However, Catherine & Louise couldn’t make next week and so they did theirs a week early and both ran every step of the way with Catherine finishing in 33.16 and Louise in 36.51.

As a Club we are very proud of the fact that we have so many beginners join us and find a love of running. They all find so many benefits both physical and mental. Our next beginners group will start in September and in the meanwhile this current group will now work their way up to 10k.

Also running form the Club was Becky who finished her first marathon (after only starting to run last year) in 6.31.16.

Well done to both ladies. We are very proud of you.

Kat’s report from the Milton Keynes marathon weekend

Kat’s report from the Milton Keynes marathon weekend

Why drive to MK just for a 5k? It’s a ridiculously fast course–flat through the first ~1.28 mi then decline all the way to finish, and aside from a right turn shortly after start & another right turn approaching the end it’s practically a straight […]
