Our 6th None To Run Beginners programme
On Sunday 15 September 2019, over 20 people turned up for our new beginners programme. This was the 6th time we have run this course and we are pleased to say its as popular as ever.
The first session starts with 30 second run segments and it builds up over 12 weeks to 25 minutes officially but generally everyone can run 5k without stopping by the end. We always end with a celebratory parkrun and our beginners have completed this in times from 30 minutes to 53 minutes. Lots go on to not only smash their inaugural times but run 10ks, Half Marathons and beyond.
