Our Kat has been up in Edinburgh for the Edinburgh 10K and has sent us back this report:
Thankfully the weather was mild, rain has held off! The course starts flat, winds around backside of Arthur’s seat, starts climbing until 3km. Then a nice downhill & flat til ~6km. Slightly undulating thru 8km, then flat to finish. Last year I did it in 1:00:59, had goal of 57 to 58 this year. Lack of sleep, sluggish, walked bits of the hill of death, stopped to help a girl who fell…still pulled off 57:15! Now commencing breakfast grazing & tourism.
Well done Kat! We have 3 runners doing the Edinburgh Half and so look forward to hearing from them tomorrow.
