Easter parkrun activity
On a lovely sunny Easter Saturday, we had runners at Peterborough, Huntingdon, Torbay and Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
Apart from adding a T and Q to our parkrun A – Z challenge, we got more PBs and added a new member to the parkrun family.
Over at Huntington, Amiee bagged another PB with a time of 26.11. At Peterborough, Florence ran a parkrun for the first time and shot to the top of the ladies leader board with a time of 23.49 after being paced by Richard. Florence beats former leading lady Meg’s time by just 4 seconds – no doubt Meg will want her place back at the top once she returns from university. Both ladies still have some work to do to catch Anna-Marie on Age Grading though as she remains top lady with an age grading of 66.17%.
Another PB came from Helen S at Torbay finishing in 30.20. Coach Andrea is looking to get Helen sub 30 very soon.
And, bringing up the rear with their respective phased return from injuries was Nib and Nona who took on the hilly Queen Elizabeth parkrun near Portsmouth. I think Nib’s face tells its own story of how he was feeling – and that was one of the more flattering photos!
