Boston Half Marathon

Our Reachel was at Boston for her Half Marathon. She finished in a time of 2.35.13 fully deserving of her medal, bath & cake.    

Rutland Half Marathon

Rutland Half Marathon

6 of our ladies entered the Rutland Half Marathon. 5 of them had not run a Half Marathon before and had in fact only started running last April. That is impressive!

Their times were Amy (1.58.33), Annika (2.27.37), Dani (2.29.21), Nikkita (2.29.51), Hilary (2.41.15) and Helen J (2.42.40).

PBs all round!

Helen was completing her second Half Marathon of the year up in Sheffield. Accompanied by Andrea who is due to run the London Marathon in 2 weeks, Helen cruised home to a PB of 2.40.37. Well done Helen!

Lincoln, Cambourne, Sandy plus more parkrun PBs

This weekend saw our runners out doing the Lincoln 10k, the Cambourne 10K and the Sandy 10 Mile.

There were a few of us with injuries who couldn’t take their place but those that did get out and race, did us proud as ever.

Ken who is carrying an ankle injury,completed the Lincoln 10k in 1.02.46, Kat completed Cambourne 10K in 56.45, and Dan completed his first competitive 10Mile at Sandy in 1.27.00

Adding to the achievements of the weekend, Kat (who has been asked to be a Run Director at Huntingdon parkrun) crossed the line in 27.34 (a course record for her) and Aimee finished in 27.04 for a PB – well done girls!
