Rutland Night Run 10K

Rutland Night Run 10K

This was a new event which saw 15 of us venture out on a dark, misty and damp winter evening.

We often run in the dark evenings but this was a little bit different as we took in a 10k route out at Rutland Water, complete with a fully lit church to admire.

Despite the cold and dark there were 5 PBs achieved with Gavin coming home in 51.24, Darren in 1.02.02. Nikita 1.08.42, Annika 1.08.46 and Jean (wearing face glitter) in 1.21.09. This was Jean’s first run over the 10k distance and we were all super proud!
