Today, our Safeguarding Officer (Carol), our Lead Coach (Nib) and one of our Run Leaders (Andrea) attended a safeguarding course run by Hunts Forum of which we are a member.
As a club we take issues of welfare seriously and we follow the England Athletics guidelines which can be found on our Safeguarding page.
Any member with any concerns is welcome to contact Carol in confidence via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or talk to her on one of the run nights.
In addition to safeguarding, we have dedicated people who members can talk to about mental health. Jonathan, Alex and Gemma are our Mental Health Champions and they can be contacted via email at email@example.com or again, you can talk to one of them on a run night.
